If Germany Won World War I (Part 2: Invasion)
The Germans completely destroyed the American fleet, but at the expense of some of their best ships. However, they had no choice to continue on toward the U.S. in order to press their advantage. America, having foreseen this, took the time prior to the invasion to set up some coastal defenses. The defenses were formidable, and Germany would be hard-pressed to gain traction on the mainland. However, America was not prepared for the sucker punch that came from the Western side of the continent. Apparently, Germany had made a secret alliance with Japan. In return for the area west of the easternmost part of the Colorado River, Japan would help Germany take the United States. It worked. Japan struck at the Los Angeles port, crippling American supply lines and destroying most of the American Pacific fleet.
